Hello there, it's me again...

I was perusing the "Lorne Park High School" grads list on Classmates.com the other day for 1975-1977, cross referencing it with my much-thumbed yearbook "The Key." Interesting stuff.

First off, it's LPSS, not LPHS.

Second, I was struck by the fact that I could find less than 30% of the folks on the Classmates list in the yearbook. As a 1976 grad, at LPSS from 1971, I was amazed how many names on Classmates didn't exist in ANY grade.

So why do you suppose this is? At first I chalked it up to folks who simply didn't get into the yearbook. Discarded as unlikely, since the number was so high. I though it might be because ther is ANOTHER Lorne Park in Ontario, and it was actually called LPHS. Wrong.

So I'm convinced it's people who just wish they went to our school. Why, I'm not sure.

Fairly simple to corrected. I asked them to correct the name and, a few days later, it is now correct.

Perhaps the answer to there being a number of people whose name you don't recognize is that there are a whole bunch of people on the Internet who wish that they had gone to LPSS! Very Happy
